Hi Sage,
thanks for the response and a speedy recovery. I'm out today and
tomorrow officially as well, though not sick ...
First, I found out this week that Mike is going to be
out for the next
month, so we are on our own for any planning here.
Oh, that's unfortunate (for us).
Also, I'm on vacation the week before this (Mar
14-22), and the week
after is KubeCon in Amsterdam (which I'm planning to attend), so I'm
not wild about traveling this week as well.
That I can understand! Though if we were to consider it as a Ceph Day in
lieu, maybe that'd help - if you can't go, we can probably make do and
meet up elsewhere.
That aside, if speakers are interested, then on the
face of it I'm not
sure there would be much downside to a Ceph track at SUSECON. But making
it successful will require some critical mass of speakers, developers, and
users... and I don't have much sense of whether that's there...
What do others think? Do we have a mailing list to reach out to the
speakers and inquire?
Might be a bit short notice, but for a Ceph event, that's basically par
for the course ;-)
If not, we really need to figure out what else to do.
Regards,
Lars
