For the pg_log issue, the default of 3000 might be too large for some installations,
depending on your PG count. We have set it to 400.
For the buffer_anon problem, there some speculation that it started when buffer_anon
trimming changed. I assume it'll be fixed in a new version, these two may be
candidates for fixes.
