I found this note in the docs:
Currently, if multi-site RGW is enabled, Ceph can only export RGW buckets in the default realm.
So yeah, it seems like that's the limitation here if you require multi-site. https://docs.ceph.com/en/latest/mgr/nfs/#mgr-nfs Zitat von Robert Sander <ceph-users@ceph.io>:

You should be able to just set the --default flag while creating the realm:
tentacle:~ # radosgw-admin realm create --rgw-realm my-realm --default { "id": "4133a698-1819-4261-8fcd-b5a19d8389b4", "name": "my-realm", "current_period": "ea503539-06f7-4a01-aaeb-55316f32711f", "epoch": 1 }
Or have you tried it that way?
I used "ceph rgw realm bootstrap" with a YAML spec like this:
placement: host_pattern: "gw*" rgw_realm: realm1 rgw_zonegroup: zg1 rgw_zone: cluster01 spec: rgw_frontend_port: 8080
It looks like this does not allow to tell that this is the default realm.
After running:
radosgw-admin realm default --rgw-realm=realm1
I can create an NFS export.
But this obviously only works for the default realm.
