Hi, I created a radosgw realm with a name != "default" in my test cluster. When trying to create an NFS export (via dashboard or the CLI) I get an error that it is not possible because the realm is not default. There is no option to specify the realm when doing this task neither on the dashboard not the CLI. As everything else seems to work with a non-default realm name I wonder if this is a bug in Ceph or if the realm should always be named "default". You should be able to just set the --default flag while creating the realm: tentacle:~ # radosgw-admin realm create --rgw-realm my-realm --default { "id": "4133a698-1819-4261-8fcd-b5a19d8389b4", "name": "my-realm", "current_period": "ea503539-06f7-4a01-aaeb-55316f32711f", "epoch": 1 } Or have you tried it that way? I used "ceph rgw realm bootstrap" with a YAML spec like this: placement: host_pattern: "gw*" rgw_realm: realm1 rgw_zonegroup: zg1 rgw_zone: cluster01 spec: rgw_frontend_port: 8080 It looks like this does not allow to tell that this is the default realm. After running: radosgw-admin realm default --rgw-realm=realm1 I can create an NFS export. But this obviously only works for the default realm. I found this note in the docs:
Currently, if multi-site RGW is enabled, Ceph can only export RGW buckets in the default realm.
So yeah, it seems like that's the limitation here if you require multi-site. https://docs.ceph.com/en/latest/mgr/nfs/#mgr-nfs Zitat von Robert Sander <ceph-users@ceph.io>:
