Hi All, It’s been a productive past few weeks. I’m excited to announce the following: — Windows PR Tests — The “ceph windows tests” PR check has been streamlined. It used to spin up an Ubuntu VM to compile Ceph, then another VM to run a vstart cluster in, then a third VM running Windows to mount the vstart cluster and run tests. Now, a ccache-backed container compiles Ceph based on the PR code changes, a vstart cluster based on the PR is launched, then a Windows VM mounts the cluster, and tests are ran. This will reduce total runtime by about half. PR checks could run is as little as ~1h. — Status Portal — I’ve deployed a new status portal: https://status.sepia.ceph.com/ This is based on feedback from a survey sent out last year about metrics and statistics devs would like to know. Let me know if there are other stats you’d like to see on it. Of course, if the entire lab is down, this won’t be accessible. — RHV — The Red Hat Virtualization cluster has been restored. I think the most important services that remained were the old teuthology VM and the Sentry VM. If you need anything off the old teuthology VM, it’s up at 172.21.0.51. — Sentry — sentry.ceph.com has been restored. It’s been redeployed in Openshift and previous sentry.front.sepia.ceph.com data has been migrated into it. teuthology dispatchers have been restarted and are reporting job failure to it. — Ubuntu 26.04 Support — The Ceph CI can now build the main branch for Ubuntu “Resolute” 26.04. 26.04 FOG images are available for all machine types. New users may sign up, specify a lab sponsor, then both users will get e-mails with magic links to validate their identity and get the sponsor’s approval.
