There are also a lot of inactive users with home dirs on that system. Were you planning on syncing all home dirs? Personally, I discovered that I had something like 27 G worth of git clones none of which I really needed because teuthology-suite will just make a new one. A fully inactive user or someone who was only a light teuthology vm user may not see this thead in time. Maybe make copying an opt-in process? Someone like me could skip opting in to the copying entirely because I only need like a shell script and two text files that I keep as notes :-)

Given that we only have a 1Gb WAN link in the Sepia lab and limited time to sync, I do not expect to be able to sync everything but we’ll get synced what we can.
The teuthology.front home directories are in CephFS on the LRC. Since we're also moving the LRC to, is this not necessary?
