Please chose another backport: this one is not ready yet. The parent issue
went back to being under review. This kind of going
back and forth is not frequent but it's worth a check.

Why not using GitHub actions or a bot for it?
It is mostly automated. Unfortunately backporting a commit from master to an
older release sometime conflicts and requires manual intervention. And even when it does
not conflict, one has to think about the consequences.

Hi,
Nice to e-meet you and thanks for answering the call :-)
Yes, there is a fair amount of PR involved, if that's what you're most
interested in you won't be disappointed. All you need to do is register on
tracker.ceph.com <http://tracker.ceph.com> <http://tracker.ceph.com
<http://tracker.ceph.com>> and let us know your account name so it can be
approved. In the meantime you can take a look at the

Once your tracker account is approved you can take any unassigned & new backport

I would like to participate in this.
My experience with ceph is that I was involved in GSOC project(Tracing RGW with Jaeger)
last year(2020).
Will this participation allow us to fix some bugs, like opening a PR for any bugs?
Thank You,
