I have five Node ceph cluster which used in Cloud Storage. Note: DC3 - DC4 having network problem not able to communicate each other. 2 MON daemon in DC1 1 Mon Daemon in DC2 1 Mon Daemon in DC3 1 MON daemon in DC4 Due to network problem DC4 Not able to communicate with DC3. Afte some time MON was not in Quorum as we have seen below logs form it. MON called for election after Quorum becomes unstable MON daemon of DC4 goes down called for election. MON daemon of DC1 elected as leader still the mon was down in DC4 also out the DC3 mon not part of Quorum. We have seen the traces that "mon ok-to-stop" commands issued to DC3 mon daemon which is not part of quorum along with DC4 by All other MON daemon of DC1 DC2 DC4 Then MGR daemon of DC2 issues "prefix": "mon rm", "name": "Node-name" MON rm commands to remove the MON daemon from ceph cluster. can i get some help here to understand what are the circumstances that ceph cluster automatically issues mon daemon remove commands? i was not able to find the any understanding regarding this in ceph documentations.
