Altough Anthony I agree in discouraging this idea, I did the same on my cluster (in production). It's a residue when I installed the cluster not yet knowing how large my setup would be. So even being not good practice, I don't intended to take the time to modify this setup

Yes, you can deploy an OSD on a partition or LVM.
What you propose is generally discouraged for multiple reasons. Is this is a sandbox cluster?
How large would these partitions be? OSDs smaller than … say 256-500GB can behave unexpectedly.
