Perhaps the warning could have been worded better. We discovered that x86-64-v2 processors are no longer supported so we added a warning. We already release both packages and containers for arm64. Umbrella is the 21st stable release of Ceph.
This is the first stable release of Ceph Umbrella. We recommend that all users update to this release.
Warnings
- Umbrella container images are based on Rocky Linux 10 (el10), which requires a CPU supporting the x86-64-v3 microarchitecture level. Deployments on hosts with older CPUs will not be able to run the containerized daemons.
Question — will Ceph be released for other Architectures such as Arm? If not, thats rather a disappointment, and likely to mean I need to find an alternative. _______________________________________________ ceph-users mailing list -- ceph-users@ceph.io To unsubscribe send an email to ceph-users-leave@ceph.io
