Hello, I am in the same situation. set pg_num command doesn't give an error, but it doesn't actually increase the pg_num. root@mn227:~# ceph osd pool set pool pg_num 16384 set pool 1 pg_num to 16384 root@mn227:~# ceph osd pool set pool pgp_num 16384 Error EINVAL: specified pgp_num 16384 > pg_num 8192 root@mn227:~# ceph osd pool get pool pg_num pg_num: 8192
