Hmm, I was thinking about reflinks for the fast file clones design, but gave up on them. Needing to track individual block allocations is just too much overhead in a distributed system like Ceph.
Venky, was this on purpose?
Not really. It got tagged with that version due to a batch label that I performed 3 months ago so that the tracker shows up in various filter queries.
Ah, too bad. I guess I'll just add another +1 vote for them happening eventually :)
