Hi all,

I hope you are all safe and healthy! We have a wee bit of formality to
get through ;-) Unfortunately, we were unable to have this discussion in
person at Cephalocon.

On the Ceph Foundation's board of governors, General and Associate
Members each are represented via a single member.

This role is currently filled by Paul Emmerich at croit.io, and thanks
for his effort!

There have been some changes to the Foundation's membership since and it
seems sensible to re-affirm or re-evaluate this annually.

According to 3.a.ii (Participation Agreement, Exhibit B), general
members vote on their representative.

As the board, we'd like to help facilitate this and host a vote via
https://civs.cs.cornell.edu/ (recommended by Sage) so the process can
complete in time for our next board meeting.

Thus, feel free to discuss here, and send self-nominations to
board@ceph.io by Monday, April 20th 2020.

We'd then run the vote until Sunday, April 26th, and hopefully welcome
either our re-newed or new member at the next board meeting. (I hope the
timing is not considered too tight.)

Please also reach out to us - either via the list or directly to me - in
case there are any follow-up questions or concerns.
