Judging by some Reddit digging, Anthony himself (the person I had an argument with, and who made the disparaging comments about my setup after making a large number of incorrect assumptions) is (one of) the mailing list admins. I can only assume this was a unilateral action by him. I hope the rest of the community has higher standards than this. This is not okay, and someone with this attitude and behavior, and who blatantly disregards the project code of conduct and its process, should not be in charge of one of the most important community forums for this community. I did try to drop a note to conduct@ceph.com about him (just as an FYI, not to request any disciplinary action), but unfortunately that email address bounced. I am *extremely* disappointed in this community. I thought this was one of the most welcoming and well-managed FOSS communities out there, and I've used it as a positive example to others multiple times. I even based the CoC of the project I started [1] on Ceph's. All that just went out the window.

(Yes, I really am banned, I stopped receiving or being able to post messages and lists.ceph.io says "Membership is banned" when I try to re-subscribe; it does let me sub to dev@ though)
