Are we missing BFs, CVEs etc? (forked from https://github.com/facebook/rocksdb with recent merges last week) - https://github.com/ceph/c-ares (9 years old) - forked from https://github.com/scylladb/c-ares (9 years old) which is forked from https://github.com/c-ares/c-ares (recent merge 2 months ago) - Some forked repos we have are very old; is there a process to maintain them? - [Greg] Rocksdb is actually only 3 years old; process is that someone submits a PR - We could use the kickoff PR to update some things - Laura suggests adding this to the kickoff PR documentation - See https://github.com/ceph/ceph/tree/main/src for a general picture of the submodule dates - Mark N: updating rocksdb has been an organic process in the past, but would be good if we had a determined schedule - Radek: updating rocksdb is trivial; we just need to make sure to take the latest publicly-released version - Biggest thing is testing - Mark N: not always trivial; we had some customizations that we need to take into account - CDM (EMEA) this Wednesday!
