This is complete. The only changes developers should notice at this time is the change from “Started by upstream project ceph-dev-new-trigger” to “ceph-trigger-build” in the Jenkins UI.

After a few days, we’ll send a follow-up announcement of some new functionality to make your lives easier.

Hi all,
Jenkins, its plugins, and the builders have been upgraded. Please let us know if you encounter any issues. Thank you
@Adam Kraitman for your work on that over the past 24 hours.
The ceph-ci.git build trigger work will begin shortly. Again, no disruption is expected but there’s a chance some branches will need to be retriggered. Feel free to ping me on Slack to handle them.

Subject: Upcoming Maintenance Notification
I’d like to make you all aware of a few upcoming maintenance windows we have planned.
6/23 Israel Morning – Jenkins and Jenkins builder updates
The Jenkins controller host (Jenkins.ceph.com) and, hopefully, all of the builders (e.g., braggi, etc.) will be upgraded during Israel daytime hours. Jenkins upgrades include:
Time permitting, the builders themselves will also be upgraded and possibly reimaged. This will ensure all builders are in an identical “golden” state and their disks are cleaned up.
6/23 11AM Pacific US – ceph-ci.git build trigger and build pipeline cutover
There is no disruption expected for this maintenance but wanted to make you all aware just in case. Zack has put a ton of work into creating a proper Jenkins pipeline for Ceph builds. Additionally, he has
created a replacement Jenkins job to trigger builds of branches pushed to ceph-ci.git.
From a development perspective, we do not anticipate any disruption or changes to your workflows. An exciting improvement will be announced once we’ve got the new infrastructure code in place and stable.
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
