Hi all,
The lab shutdown in RDU is almost here. We are experiencing some strange networking issue — when a VPN client starts a file transfer (e.g., rsync), it causes all of the VPN clients to experience packet loss. I was hoping to get this resolved before granting
access to the lab but that is looking increasingly unlikely.
I have a non-VPN data transfer method open and expect to be finished rsync’ing the /home directories from the LRC to the
new LRC hopefully before the weekend.
If you currently have data in the RDU Sepia lab that you absolutely must have available between December 15 and early January, reply directly to me with the host(s) and path(s) ASAP.
As a quick status update:
-
We got one of the new x86 Jenkins builders connected to Jenkins and ran a build
-
We will be getting the ARM64 builders running over the next couple days
-
We have a new “teuthology” host communicating back with paddles and nearly have runs running
-
We have a paddles DB mirror that will become the primary DB when RDU goes dark
-
We have a new Openshift cluster
-
We have a new LRC with teuthology and home filesystems
